This game actually isnt that bad, but it could have better songs.

User Rating: 8.1 | Taiko Drum Master (w/Taiko Controller) PS2
Taiko Drum Master is actually quite addicting, if you are into the interactive musical genre, like Guitar Hero. (This game isnt as good as Guitar Hero, though.) If you do not know what the game is, it is simply a play-the-beats-as-they-come-along game, like DDR. Ok, im going to stop comparing this game to other games, now. The taiko drum it includes is divided into four different places to hit. (Left and right on the actual drum, and left and right on the rim.) The controlers included sticks should'nt break as you play, because the "taiko" drum has a firm plastic texture (its not hard plastic). The notes that come from right to left in the game are color and size coded. If the note that comes across is red, you hit either the left or the right of the center of the taiko. If the note comes across as blue, then you hit either side of the rim of the drum. In any color, if the note is big, you hit both sides of the center or the rim, depending on the color. NOTE: it dosent matter which side of the drum you hit when the normal sized notes come across your "hit" area. Ok, on to the reviewing part, INTRO OVER! Gamplay. Hmmmmm, this is quite a decision to make. Lets see now, i just explained the gameplay earlier pretty much, exept the fact that there are different songs that contain different beats, of course. Unfortunatly, the game does get boring after you beat it, so I would play it at a friends house, because he/she is dumb enough to buy it. There is also a two player feature that allows you to play a song with players either having the same difficulty, or each having a different one. Ok, 7. Graphics. The game gives a Japanese cartoon feel to it. Nothing 3-D. Although, it does come out pretty clear, so it deserves a 9. Sound. This gets a 10, because of the variety of the music, and some of the songs are pretty good. There are also the sound effects, which are ok, I guess, I never really paid attention to them. Value. I dont recomend you buy this game, because the drum will probably end up drenched in dust at the bottom of your closet after you beat the game on all of the difficulty levels. But if you are into the genre, the taiko controller will constantly be plugged in your PS2. Overall, the game deserves a 8.1, because it gets boring real fast. REVIEW OVER!! ( leave me a message and tell me what you think!) Heck, go ahead and track me, I don't care! OK, REVIEW OVER FOR REAL!!
