this game is a true gem for the ps2, specially if you can get a hold on the Taiko drum peripheral, it,s very responsive, but also quite loud, i annoyed thehell of my. girlfriend b eating on the rytm of the music. the co... Read Full Review

Great game, fun for parties or single player.

Though I am reviewing the US version of Taiko no Tatsujin, it still has some merits... the gameplay remains untouched and managed to get some good music. Unfortunately some songs like Toxic by Britney Spears and Tubthum... Read Full Review

A cross between quirky Japanese games, Donkey Kongo, and everything DDR fans would probably love.

This game was a surprise to me when I found it at a Fry's Electronics not too long ago. I was instantly hooked, buying the game right where I saw it. Once I played it, I realized that this game was a Japanese game icon !... Read Full Review

This game is very well designed and a very good amount of song choices.

The ways this game is very good is the song choices, this game has some of the best song choices (between this game and donkey konga). You have bands like, Good Charlotte, The Goo Goo Dolls, and many more (but it's not t... Read Full Review

Fun in short bursts, but overall a flawed game.

Taiko Drum Master (TDM) is a tough game to describe. It's a rhythm game, in the vein of Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, but involves a tiny Taiko drum, which has basically two "buttons:" Hitting the c... Read Full Review

This game actually isnt that bad, but it could have better songs.

Taiko Drum Master is actually quite addicting, if you are into the interactive musical genre, like Guitar Hero. (This game isnt as good as Guitar Hero, though.) If you do not know what the game is, it is simply a play-th... Read Full Review

Pure rhythm among the family of rhythm games.

Taiko Drum Master is one of the many peripheral laden games that requires something more than the dual shock to play as intended. A huge taiko drum comes with the game, along with two smooth plastic sticks to pound on it... Read Full Review

Mediocre but still amusing game. Nice little party game.

This game is somewhat fun when you first start playing. It's easy to learn, though not as easy to master. There are definite drawbacks to the default drum that is included with the game. It is not very sensitive and requ... Read Full Review

A 3 out of 5 on my scale.

Taiko: Drum Master is originally an arcade game by Namco Hometek Inc. that was only released in Japan. The game has various songs by Queen, Jet, Destinie's Child, and others as well, including classical music like the Ca... Read Full Review

Taiko loses alot from it's Japanese to English version.

The orginal Japanese game was much better , more songs and more options. Games sometimes lose stuff when they come to America. Sure it's America but some of the songs are just odd. This game is also like the The Donkey K... Read Full Review
