Table top racing reminds me of when I was younger and I used to play Micro Machine racing games. All the tracks are cool, fun, tables that you race, jump and turbo across. This game lets you upgrade cars in an easy fashion. You earn money by winning races and you upgrade your cars or buy new cars. There are simply three (3) tiers worth of cars each with about four or five cars to pick from. There are also three (3) tiers of level difficulty. The first beginners level lets you dive right in some awesome races against about seven or eight cars.
All the races are not the same, you have some that allow you to use weapon pick-ups, some that don't. You have some that you are just racing against the clock and some that you have to drift. I'm glad you get a good variety of different races that never seem to stray too far off the beaten path. It's fun to try to the different races, find short cuts and upgrade your car to get that first place medal.
Table Top Racing is just a fun, pick me up type of game. Sometimes you get stuck on edges and when you do it's highly frustrating. Some of the levels are really nice and some seem to just be okay. However, for this type of game these things are okay.
If you don't feel like playing a full racing game like DIRT, pick up Table Top Racing and enjoy some fun tracks, an awesome soundtrack and good ol' fun.
