When Super Mario Came to the SNES it didn't leave anything behind, in fact it has the making for the best in the Series

User Rating: 9.7 | Super Mario World: Super Mario Bros. 4 SNES
When the SNES hit US shores we were all in awe at the game it came packaged with. Super Mario had become synonymous with the Nintendo consoles and this was no different. With the vast history and high acclaim the mario series has garnered, Super Mario World had it's work cut out for it. It delivered a masterpiece that deserves to be mentioned next to SMB 3.

Graphics 10/10: 16 Bits only got you so much in those days but Super Mario had a beautifully integrated color scheme and sharp visuals. The envrionment was pretty to the eye and brought out the life of the time.

Sound: 10/10 SNES could produce great sound for a cartridge console. Mario was no different, it sounded as good as it looked. Amazing.

Gameplay: 9/10 The only gripe I have with the gameplay is that it's linear but not necessarily in a bad way. Mario retains it's run, jump, and stomp routine with an added new spin move that's useful and fun but not revolutionary in anyway.

Overall 10/10: If you never played this game then you are missing out on a Gaming classic and need to play it immediately. Find an SNES and get this Game. You will not be disappointed.
