Mario 64 is not the greatest game of all time, but it comes pretty close! This game pretty much defined how games are played and made; because its the first true 3D game in the world! Everything about this game is just neat, because every element of Mario games are presented very throughly in a 3D form; the transition from 2D - 3D is just amazing, and this game makes you feel like you are almost playing a cartoon. The biggest challenge for a 3D game is its controls, and being the first 3D game in the world, i think Mario 64 pretty much sets the standard. N64's analog controller pretty much gives you the full control of how Mario will move, and you have a more precise control of how things move (move the joystick a litte, mario walks...etc.). The only complain i have about this game is its Camera control. Camera is constantly being blocked by an wall, enemy, or some other objects that blocks all the awesome actions! You can move the camera around to your comfort, but you have to move the camera every time you move to a new place; thats my only complain about this excellent game!
