As a child, I was unceremoniously thrown out of my dad's room when I went in there to play his Nintendo 64. But times have changed and now I'm the boss of the Nintendo 64 in our house. One of the games I wanted to play on dad's TV was Star Wars: Rouge Squadron. I had only seen Star Wars: The Phantom Menace but still, these starships captivated me! As a child I wasn't too good with the game but now that I am older I can appreciate it. If you have ever wanted to fly any of the Rebel starships from the original Star Wars trilogy, then this is the game for you. It may have aged a bit and not be as shiny as newer space combat type games - in my opinion this game still beats them all (nostalgia). I still have not completed the game (I'm not that dedicated!) But the thought of actually flying a Star Wars starfighter is the winning point of this game. It is a must play for all Star Wars fans - so pick it up (or emulate) if the opportunity arises.
