Lucas Arts pulls it off with this First Person Shooter

I first got Republic Commando in the Star Wars: Best of PC pack. Though it wasnt top on my list to play; as soon as I did I was addicted. Later I bought the Xbox version to substitute for my crashed computer.

In Republic Commando you play as Delta 38 aka "Boss." You are part of an elite groop of clone troopers known as Commandos.
Together with Delta 40, "Fixer", Delta 62, "Scorch", and Delta 07, "Sev", you fight the clone wars from the distinct view of a clone. Your reputation is matched only by your big guns and your ability to always come out alive.

The Story is one of the Best I've seen in a Star Wars game, and the graphics would still be concederd excellent even by todays standards. Control is easy and streamline with hardly any delayed reaction. Multiplayer could use a few more larger levels but for the most part it's ok. And for those of you who find it too easy, ramp up the difficulty, you'll get your mony's worth. As of that i give it a perfect 10.
