Fun thrill from the start, but loses it's flame as it progresses.

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way. I loved this game. I would be in my room playing regular matches with bots almost all of the time. Then I tried multi player. BAD IDEA.

The campaign basically puts you into missions that are exactly alike to the fun matches with bots. You roam from planet to planet, having huge battles against different armies. Between battles, you have PowerPoint cut scenes you could say. Basically it just shows pictures and there's no animations. Some annoying but fun parts of the game is when you get to participate in space battles.

You spawn on your mother-ship, run towards the best fighter you can find, and blast your way to victory. The controls are easy on beginners and you also have lock-on so you don't have to throw the PSP across the room when you miss the enemy fighter with your last missile. You can board the enemy ships (in some game modes) and destroy it from within. Be sure to watch out for enemy players that can find you and take you down very quickly.

Another fun part of the campaign and regular matches is being able to spawn as a hero (Darth Vader, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Luke Skywalker). The hero you get to play as determines which side you are on. The hero can have blasters, lightsabers, and jump and run very far. You can also be a hero in space battles.
