It's kinda hard to review this game... Its a little over 19 games for the price of a budget racing game... The best games ever in fact... This is one of those discs you have to have in your collection if you like gaming and you grew up on the blue blur... Sonic 2 was my first game I ever played, basically shaping who I am because of me playing it, and to be able to play that again with some added features was a moment I'll never forget. The disc has all of the old Sonic Genesis games, some of the Game Gear games, a few non Sonic extras, a comic book cover archive, making of Sonic Heroes stuff, and all sorts of other things. I grew up on the Archie comics, so seeing that archive in the game brought a tear to my eye. Every game now has a save feature that allows you to save ANYWHERE. Wanna save before you fight Dr. Robotnik's Death Egg? Go ahead! Wanna save during the fight? Do that too! Sega made a genius move giving us the save feature. All of the controls translate nicely to the PS2 controller, though while playing it, I still have the urge to perform Homing Attacks from my past experiences with Heroes and Shadow.
Basically, in this age of Keyblades, Las Plagas, Chaos Control, and Babylon Rouges, its nice to take a trip back in time to enjoy the greatest games ever made.
