SOCOM 1 is an excellent game and is the only one in the series where I truly felt like I could be a NAVY SEAL.

SOCOM 1 is an old game now but it has stood up to the test of time quite well. I have all four SOCOM games that have been made to date and SOCOM 1 still has some merit. If you have played any of the SOCOMs and liked them then I am guaranteeing you that you'll like this one. This SOCOM does not have vehicles or as many weapons or weapon customization though, so if those were some things you liked about 3 and Combined Assault then you might not enjoy this as much as I have. I'll be honest that I can only recommend this game for the nostalgic feeling of playing the first SOCOM. These days there are many far superior tactical shooters, but all in all I think any SOCOM fan should play the original SOCOM.
