Great Reboot!
Strengths: great atmosphere, many interesting characters, great environments, holds true to the original lore, different races and classes make for replay value, varied approaches to completing missions, great sound track, good value for $20.
Weaknesses: Visuals look slightly dated, relatively short (14 hours for me), checkpoint save system, linear gameplay.
Neutral points: I would have preferred voice acting for some of the main characters, but for the price that's really just nitpicking. As a native of the Pacific Northwest I was happy to see the use of so many local cities and towns (in name anyway).
Overall I gave this game an 8, and am excited to see what the community will do to add to it. I am sure that fan created content will flush out Shadowrun Returns to it's full potential.
