This game is way too underlooked.
In story you can tour the city of New York. You build relationships with your squad. And you can have a lot of free rein when it comes to friends. As the game goes on you chose who you love the most... but I will not say to much. ;P. Although a warning to the young. There are a few situations that can be avoided, some that can not be avoided. EX: you walk in on one of your squad in the middle of changing. You see nothing and in the end get scolded by her. She is also a lawyer so... It can get a little frustrating at times for the fact that you can not tell what they want to hear or whay they want you to do. But it is very fun to talk the girls out on the town.
Stratagy is the battle half of the game. THe moves of the game are 2D, but each level has its own problems and puzzles to solve. EX: in the first level it is simple kill everything on the ground. A few levels later you have to divide your forces in order to take out a large hive in the sky while trying to stop Central park from becoming a dead zone. A total of 6 fighters is the max, but to get them you need to to complete story and battle. It takes a while till then. But even then it is strong probability someone in your squad will die in battle. THe good side is even if your member is zeroed out it is not the end of their story. It is never explained but they more or less are pulled off the field to try and recover. Now they come back if the situation changes drasticly. This not cheap though for two reasons. First all fighters are needed to scrape by somethimes. also they come back with a penatly of lowered states. As explained in story you make relationships. It can increase the stength of the fighter. It does get chalenging and requires thought, and has a story that is in its own sence costomisable. You chose your own fate. Enjoy if you can find it.
