I wanted this game for a long time before I decided to buy it. I finally got it and I'm glad I did. This game is just plain fun. The beginning is a little slow, but once you get past the first 2 hours or so, it's a lot of fun. The characters are fun. There's a lot of humor, which most RPGs don't have. The graphics are really cool. It kinda looks like water color. The game play isn't to difficult. You can only change weapons and abilities on yourself so you don't have to spend so much time in shops and the status screen trying to get your party updated with new equipment. The other characters take care of that themselves. Battles are pretty straight forward hack and slash. One button for regular attacks and one for you special attack. Then you have a menu you can open if you need to use an item. If you get lost, you can look at the map to see where to go. But, I haven't got to play in a few days cause my boyfriend got addicted to the game. He says its more addicting than a drug. Just one of those games thats worth playing.
Update: I have just finished playing through the second storyline. So I've beaten both storylines and both ending sucked. It's still a great game, but I wish I wouldn't have spend so much time getting everysingle character and item and side quest in the game. I got 176 of 177 characters so I went through all that trouble for nothing really.
