Quantom Redshift is another game that I found at my local EB Games for under $10... $4 to be exact. Let me tell you that this game is worth every penny. The game is basically a rival to Nintendo's F-Zero series and Sony's Wipeout series. it has that standard futuristic/pod-racing feel, but is easy enough to master. The graphics are launch title quality, so they're not great, but not awful. The game include several modes including a time-attack mode, a championship series for single-players and a split screen multiplayer mode for up to four players. There are several characters and pods to choose from as well as several tracks. In single-player, you can upgrade your pod with cash you earn by winning races and collecting bonuses. This is a worthwhile racing game that's different from most racers, and a nice change and varient from the traditional racing game. Pick up Quantom Redshift.
