@SeptuagintXXX, @The_Godfather_: Hey guys, I know what you're trying to say but complaining about the game's flaws in combat on an article that is simply comparing Witcher 1's graphical appearance with Witcher 2's graphical appearance dosn't seem to make sense to me. If you want to do that then I would think that maybe going to Witcher 2's review video page or forum page and leave a comment their or make a thread about it. I respect your oppinions and understand why you feel as yuo do but this is a graphical comparison article not a gameplay comparison article. :-)
I'd wager that the guy who was quoted in this article has at one stage when he first started driving he bought a second hand car. Everyone generally buys a crappy second hand car when they first start driving. Granted we'll never know, but we in all reality we really definitely know he did. Oh the irony of this man's statements!
I feel like like this looks fine on the consoles. And with developers aiming generally at consoles as there first port of call when they make videogames these days it seems rather silly to even try to do graphics comparisons, sure PC is always better, but there's barely a difference that matters any more. Plus several, but not all that many, years ago we all played on games that had graphics as blocky as the bricks that make up the walls of the outside of your house and they seemed to be just fine. Ah well, maybe I'm becoming an old ass gamer. And what the hell is that all about? I'm 23. :-p

Did MS start the hype engine up for this game WAY too early? (Halo fanboys are excluded from answering this question, we can tell who you are! And any Halo fanboys that DO answer the above question must realize that there answer is moot. I'm sorry, but that's just how it's gotta be.)
I think I've just found out just how much I care about graphical prowess. I mean, there's barely even a little bit of difference. It dosn't matter. The question, for me, toward's games is; "Is this game fun?" Victory for fun, cool games! :-)
@Cube-gage No they don't. That's why there's barely any left. It's a dying trade. The reason: consoles. The more in depth reason: why go to the arcade when you can play the SAME thing at home. Good reasoning, but Arcades are awesome, and if anyone wants to go to one, you'd better hurry up, because there's not many left.
Lost odyssey is a great story-game(Written by the same guy that's behind the story for the original FF7). There're even collectable short text stories throughout the game(symphony music in these stories to make more impact as you're reading through it. Like the sound of a prison door banging shut on a person who will remain imprisoned for the rest of his/her time, this person being immortal. The impact of the idea of being imprisoned with the sentance of life while being Immortal, is one I'd be truly afraid to experience in my life.) I'm not afraid to admit that a couple of these stories brought some tear's to my eye's.(not uncontrollable weeping, lol, but they're emotional stories none-the-less.)
Hey guys, How's it going? It's quite strange for me... I can play crysis in very high graphics but I stick Fallout 3 in and I used to only be able to play that in medium settings. I bought the new AMD quad-core 9950 and it flies fast like a... well like a fast flying thing lol. AND it's set to very high as well. to be honest, I simply don't care anymore, it really rang true to me the other day that this sort of continual upgrading of my system's part's was so totally trivial that I won't bother until my pc is at the point in the future where I'm no longer able to play games because my card is just too damn slow. (baring in mind that my card is an 8800GTX Super oc 1GB) it should take a while at, least that is what I hope since it simply dosn't seem worth spending upwards of £200 upwards twice a year JUST to update the graphics card. (AND bare in mind also that I'm ONLY talking about the graphics card, let alone any motherboard, CPU, PSU, sound card or RAM upate I may of had to upgrade with).
