It may not have dat tessellation but the epic fight scene would look more impressive than all of those games on the list.gpuking
Poor little PS3 fanboy. Enjoy your extremely scripted movie while I take Crysis 3 (PC) any day.
+1Yeah, Yeah everyone is jealous of eveything you own. Do you need to justify every purchase you make with these kinds of threads?

I know you have crysis and all things crytek but crysis IS NOT a linear game. There is not even one game as open world as crysis. Deal with it.[QUOTE="zeeshanhaider"][QUOTE="dakan45"] NO, crysis is a super linear game, the maps are like someone picked up a rock and designed a path along the coastline, thats it. Arkham city is like assasin's creed.razgriz_101
play Just cause 2 then get back to me and say this without bursting into a fit of the giggles.
Haven't played Just Cause 2 but I'll take your word for that. But are you still sure it's doing all what Crysis was doing, in other words are they both on the same technical level? P.S. the more I see the UE4 features video the more I become convinced that they are playing a catchup to CE.[QUOTE="zeeshanhaider"]I entirely disagree, having developed a good deal in UDK and as someone who has done a lot of work in UE1, 2, 3 and CryEditor 1, 2 and now 3 - Source and Unity as well for that matter - over the years. CryEgine has its advantages, however generally speaking it doesn't hold up nearly as well as Unreal Engine in terms of toolset. CryEngine's biggest advantage is very much on the rendering and processing end, not the workflow and interface.Like you said they have inherent large scale advantages then what could possibly be any other scenario where CE doesn't deliver?

CE3 is the best all around engine tool set I've ever seen and used to this date

I'm not as experienced as you are and new to the development but I still find Sandbox 3 much easier to use than UDK. So could please cite some examples elaborating on this front.
[QUOTE="zeeshanhaider"] Have just completed it. As a matter of fact I was playing Harley Quinns Revenge DLC yesterday. I know what you mean by arkham city being open world but what I'm trying to say it that it's a linear game. Okay, may be I wasn't exactly right about Batman AC, but it still isn't as sandboxy as Crysis was.razgriz_101
thing is heres the kicker no matter how you argue, so is crysis.
Crysis isnt sandbox at all, your objective always end up in the same place when progressing through the story and such.
I already accepted I was wrong, what do you want me to do now? But I remain corrected about crysis vegetation point. It can't do crysis like levels.
