@sagittarius476: I will definitely say that The Witcher 3 Story, characters and dialogue is better than Grand Theft Auto V. However I don't think Rockstar ever set out with GTAV to create a complex and hard-driving narrative that would give anybody a run for their money. I've never thought that of any GTA game as a matter of fact. But they've shown that they're more than capable of doing something like that with Red Dead Redemption, the Warriors, and Max Payne. GTA IV's DLC actually the lost and the damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony had great narratives now that I think about it.
What's always been staggering to me and I guess to many others by the fact they have become Legends out of it is what they do with their approach to open world games. Go back and play The Witcher 3 and feel how stagnant geralt feels compared to any Grand Theft Auto character since really San Andreas. Whether you can climb things, get run over by cars and your character goes flying in the background. The amount of detail they go into when a car gets damaged, how so many NPCs can be running in the background doing their own things and reacting to the player, exploring miles of underwater detail in the oceans and even have a shark come after you. I can go on and on but the cheapness of The Witcher 3 is felt when you look at things like this

Ask for CD projekt Red's comments toward Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto V here is the link. The director specifically says they are their role models and they're expecting to be blown away by the things Red Dead Redemption 2 shows them is possible in video games.
@lamespot69: Before there was any online, the game had already sold over 18 million copies and made 1 billion dollars in 3 days. And that was only when there was single player content again I will add.
All you have to do is Google Kojima and Rockstar, CD projekt Red and Rockstar, Yoko Tori(nier director)and Rockstar, Yakuza producer and Rockstar every single one of these developers have said Rockstar has the greatest production team in the entire industry. And it does show, nobody comes close to the level of detail that they put in their games. From physics, attention to detail, complexities that the RAGE engine is having to produce in the background of the game etc.
@sagittarius476: Ignoring my other claim that every highest level developers in the industry (even your favorite ones I'm sure)have claimed GTAV is one of the greatest games ever made. It's not personally one of my favorite games, but I can definitely see the quality where everybody else lacks.
I don't know who you're attempting to compare them to but just in case it's somebody like CD projekt Red, the studio head of that team has already said that Rockstar is their rolemodels and they still have a ways to go before they even think about surpassing the level of quality they're putting out
@ssdd_again: Love how people like you act like they know a lot. But Rockstar started with the Houser brothers and it will end with the Houser Brothers. If you didn't know, Leslie was the one who shilled the online focus you people attempt to shit on the game for as well. Then after all was said and done he wanted an outrageous royalty fee from his own partners at Rockstar. He's now a corporate slave for Amazon I'm not going to sit here and act like Leslie's not a talented developer because he is but Rockstar will and has already replaced him with the Max Payne 3 director, Rob Nelson. Who I believe is more than fit to take his role.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be Rockstars finest game in years and I'm willing to bet a lot of money on that. Has a chance to be an entire industry quality setter as well

Nothing wrong with these editions or the Collectors Box. The games development budget is going to be around $200,000,000 and ooze of quality.
