Rockstar and the Houser Bros are not going to copy other devs. They've made it clear time and time again. Judging from the fact it vastly outsold and reviewed higher than those games, it seems like they're not wrong

You objectively have bias against the game and are using this prequel critic as reassurance for your distaste towards the game. The best MGS game is 3 and it was a prequel. Just because you participate in terrible franchises that don't know how to do prequels right doesn't mean Rockstar didn't do it justice here.
You also haven't even listed what you think should have won Goty and why. But based off your brainlet posts already you'll probably try to attempt to tell me it's God of War despite it losing it's identify in the pursuit of the movie game crowd that Naughty Dog started and with Dark Souls lite gameplay
@doa2169: You're one that has some brain dead reading comprehension. You're not even making any sense man. I have played 20 hours of online and over a hundred hours of a single player. I had around 50 hours of gameplay before I even started chapter 3. Then I finally got to a point where I just wanted to go straight to the story because I had done most of the other side stuff at that point.
I am confident in saying that most of the development time was spent on single player. Get your head out of your own ass and stop with the bias.

What the **** are you talking about? There's 136 hours of single player content, 700 voice actors, and 50,000 lines of dialogue. Have you even played online? It's devoid of content. Single player was the main focus point during development
@kyle_key: Lol I honestly don't care and I assume neither does Rockstar. Winning these pointless awards won't cover development cost for their next project. Mega sales (which RDR2 already has) and 97 metascore means much more. No one will remember these awards unless they autistically wanna google them and look at them everyday for reassurance.
CDPR might just have the worst fan base on the planet. Like Jesus Christ. They have only made 3 GAMES ever and finally just had their GTA3 moment with TW3. CDPR literally just had to promise investors that Cyberpunk 2077 would have quality on par with RDR2. They also want to be Rockstar and they think that Rockstar is the best dev on the planet.
