@bunchanumbers They're banking on having those they give the game free to, to buy the DLC for said game. It's a way for them to make more cash on a game they otherwise never would have made money on.

But everyone keeps telling themselves Microsoft is great for giving us free games. Right.

Didn't they already release Halo 3 as part of their Games for Gold promotion? Wasn't it one of the first ones, if not THE first one, they even did?

Oh, and for those who don't know, Games for Gold isn't a permanent thing.. in fact, it's slated to end after December.

I've been playing Yoshi's Island lately, and it's one of the best platformers I've ever played.
