no just no they dont make consoles no more and good games are scarce from sega, in fact their best effort this gen was on the wii -condult hotd series

as a matter of fact im not a sega fanboy as you state, im a gamer. prove is that i owe ps3, 360 and wii of this gen and have had all of the main leaders consoles since my first console at the age of 4 or 5 when i owned a nes. i love all the systems but played more sega games back in the master system and genesis days even when nes, snes, n64 and playstation were all about. i loved playing all the systems. i only started this topic as i wanted to see the reactions from fellow gamers like myself

i am and always have been a massive fan of segas console releases ever since i owned the master system back in the day. i was one of the very few people in my town to ever hear about and or own a mega cd (sega cd to you lot over in the us) it was a very sad day when sega announced that they would no longer be making consoles. considering that there are only 3 current gen systems (360, ps3, wii) do you think sega could make a comeback onto the console scene and continue what it started with the dreamcast? (it was rather advanced for its time) think about it, sega makes a new console and starts the old console war with nintendo again, how fun would that be (it would be like i went back to the 90s where sega and nintendo couldnt get along lol) all i want to know is, do you think sega could make a current or next gen system that could compete with microsoft, sony or nintendo's current or future releases?
....... with sega making ryo from shenmue a playable character in the new kart racer sonic & sega all star racing, that they have thought about making the long awaited and universally wanted SHENMUE 3?
if so, what are your thoughts on it? would you like to see another shenmue game see the light of day? i never played it myself but my mate loves the series. also what system would you like to see it on? and what do you think could be the deal with the big cliffhanger at the end? (im not saying what it is as i dont want this to be filled with spoilers for those people who havent played it.
master chief without a doubt. it doesnt matter that halo 1 and 2 are on pc, its still a microsoft machine so technically hes a poster boy for all microsoft machines. also whoever made this poll, i dunno why you would think ryu hayabusa could be a poster boy for the xbox. he has 2 games on the xbox, but you obviously have forgotten (or too silly to realise) ninja gaiden has been around for nearly 20 years. originally released on sega's consoles. EPIC FAIL FOR YOU. although marcus could be a decent choice, Gears is a mature game for mature audiences. to be a poster boy, you need to cater to all gamers, young and old.
