@Terminator95 So... sequels by Sony aren't going to be down played like those from Xbox... Totally unbiased in you train of thought. Besides I think Silent Hills multiplat. But yeah you are right Sony has done such a great job introducing new IPs this gen hope they keep it up.
I think too many people that never even tried it are placing their opinions here. Personally I loved the multiplayer sure I loved the series but the multiplayer just stole my heart. I only wish it was a little more indepth in its scenarios, but it just played so well and the different characters and setups made the game so much more engaging when compared to the single player. While playing as Shepard was a grand time he just felt like superman, where as you MP characters were vulnerable with the odds stacked against them. Finding and fine tuning your groove was addictive, the people were usually great and had it never come along I would have probably never realized how much ass the other class types kick outside of Infiltrator.
It gave you a chance to try everything and it gave you enough viable options to where you didn't have to worry about metagame, so there were never any cookie cutter builds. I don't know people are just hating and really missed out on a great thing.
@tosted4u21 To be fair phantom dust, scale born, and the new twist to the fable series are pretty interesting. Sony's exclusives were either remakes or sequels. Everything that was eyebrow raising came from multiplats.
Looking forward to a few things that were shown, Phantom Dust and Scale born ill be watching close and hope they shape up well, a few indie games surprised me too, considering that just isn't my thing but they make me feel nostalgic. It was a good showing with surprise exclusives, nice to see MS diversifying their exclusives.
In all seriousness Sony's strongest point is usually the quality of their exclusives, but without too many shown this year it definitely feels like it was one long business presentation. Last year they had it easy when you compared what was coming out of the xbox conference all they had to do is say "everything they are doing we aren't doing" and they won the day.
With Microsoft removing all the DRM related things from their console and stripping away anything that made them an easy target Sony should have known to bring their A game but they fell a bit flat, there was a lack of exclusives talked about, and they went on about all new devices and apps coming out at unspecified points in time. They even took the time to take a jab at the kinect by belittling their own camera before introducing Morpheus, but considering that MS has already moved to make it completely optional it didn't hold much steam.
I found it ironic how they chanted its all about the games, shortly after someone talking about a movie then jumping right into talking about TV, I was waiting for something big to happen and No Mans Sky was that thing, my heart almost sank but then I found out it wasn't exclusive and outside of bloodborne I don't think there was anything that grabbed my attention. I seriously was considering picking up a PS4 if this had sold it as a must have, but after this I see no rush in owning one.
