@TomMcShea

"...you can just call him the jerk who hates all the things you love and loves all the things you hate."

Wow this really doesn't make me want to read anything Tom has to say. You're better than this Tom. This is not good journalism... what kind of message are you trying give with editor introductions such as this. Do you hate your job? Are you feeling sorry for yourself? Kevin VanOrd said being a journalist involves having tough skin, but this just sounds like pure defeat. Again, you are better than this.

@Los9090 Be honest with me! You honestly liked the ridiculous backtracking in the underworld city under the mansion (you know the level where you had to do the same thing 9 times), and the even more ridiculous ending where a giant lobster (Chattur'gha) battles a giant jellyfish (Ulyaoth) in outer space!!! Tell me your joking!!! Silicon Knights disappoints, and continues to disappoints...

I love my PS3 and this hasn't really affected me at all considering my currently favorite game is Valkyria Chronicles! Why is online such a big deal, people? Go buy a Xbox 360, if you need to shoot a real person online with a fake gun!

Pac-man Championship Edition DX is ambitious, addictive, and pure brilliance. Taking a iconic character like Pac-Man or a traditional formula like eating pellets and then turning it into an intense race against time... Honestly, these developers should be working for NASA, not Namco. But I'm sure glad they are. You guys are just as good as Miyamoto if not better.

I just recently got an Atari 2600 about a month ago, and I've discovered that it's a better "party console" than the Wii by a long shot! Everytime I have company over we all immediately gravitate towards the Atari instead of my Wii. Maybe it's just because it's a novelty or an antique, but I'm getting more usage out of it in the last month than any other gaming system I own.

Maybe this is why I never liked Fallout 3? And why Castlevania Rondo of Blood (PC Engine) was so incredible to me. I take so many things for granted it video games, and music is one of them.

@Chrono_Shift If I remember correctly, the Atari Lynx was the first "colored" hand-held, not the Gameboy Color.

I have nothing against multiplayer games... I love Metal Gear Online for example! But I strongly disagree with Frank Gibeau that "publishers can't get away with single player games." All the games that have had the greatest impact on my life have been single player games. Plus I get tired of games like Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty online because it never ends! I treat my games like novels or favorite movies. I want to get to the end! Online has no end, and therefore is less satisfying to me. I'd much rather beat a great game with great characters (ex. Bioshock, Golden Sun (GBA), Grim Fandango) and be left satisfied then aimlessly spending countless hours online. p.s. I know this doesn't apply to Co-Op games like Halo, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. And for those developers, I say, "Thank you!" But since Final Fantasy XIV, lets just hope that Japanese RPGs stay single-player, ok. No offense Square Enix.
