Good game. Good, solid game.

Love the flashlight mechanic, the atmosphere, and the story telling. I like Alan Wake the character. Some of the fights are awesome (the bulldozer and the harvester).

The complaints I have is that for being set outdoors in the mountains and treelines, the game is extremely linear, I also stopped caring about the story. The storytelling is well done but the story itself I lost interest halfway through.

There wouldn't be any backlash like it's getting had it released alongside Prime 3 or Other M

In 8 years we've had only new Metroid game, and that was released back in 2010. Fans are hungry for a new Metroid game, a Prime 4 or a even a 2d on a handheld. But instead, after 5 years of no Metroid, they end with us and the fans feel cheated.

I've pulled from video games since I've been back to college.

The game I've played through in the past two months is Telltale's Game of Thrones - 12 hours.

Grab a Wii U that has that plays wii games. Wii games are generally better but there are a number of great wii u titles.
