@telmor84 @ziqi92 But we've also got some fantastic Japanese games too. Seriously, both Japanese and Western games are as stagnant as each other. This doesn't mean the games are bad, but both regions rely heavily on copying 'winning' game ideas.

It'd be cool if Nintendo picked up Atlus. And Sega. And Platinum Games. Actually, I think Nintendo should try and build the Wii U to be the epicentre of Japanese gaming. It really needs a shot in the arm at the moment.

He's right though, video games will never be takes seriously as an entertainment medium if people send death threats purely on the back of slight tweaks to the game they play. It's pathetic.

Or, devs can stop bitching and just accept that used game sales don't harm the industry. Simple really. The used and new markets work side by side in pretty much every other industry, yet video game devs and publishers think they have a god given right to tell us what we can and can't buy. How about making your games more enjoyable and fulfilling, because if you did maybe, just maybe, less people would get rid of them.

My collection is currently at almost 900 games, 24 consoles and a ton of accessories (can't think of how many). I have some memorabilia, but not much. I'm happy with that.

@CrouchingWeasel E.T. for the 2600 is worse than Big Rigs, but not by much :P
