@justinofclark: Definitely wrong about Titanfall 2 and Nier Automata. I loved Nier Automata and was really surprised at how good TF2 was (Even though it was still on the "dude-bro I'm in the military" cliche that has been stale for the past 8 years). ZOE is not anywhere near the same thing as either of those. ZOE is like a really good arcade game from the mid-late 90's you had to pay $5 to play with a good story. I still haven't seen anything like ZOE or ZOE 2. I will say that ZOE 1 didn't age well but it's definitely more playable than any other game that came out in the period.

@Derpalon: I totally agree. This reviewer just didn't like the game and was forced to review it. By far the best mech game on a whole. I bet this reviewer is the same type of "sheep" person who likes whatever he thinks he should and doesn't have any type of original taste off the beaten path.

@Pierce_Sparrow: I said the same thing. This reviewer must not have played the first game, let alone watch the anime (which went into the backstory of the first runner and the prototype Jehuty). I played the demo and it's still a great game.

BTW, the VR is just an option. You can play it normally (I play the demo normally).

Jesus, get a reviewer who actually knew and loved the games and other media that was put out for it. Heck, get someone who understands the general direction of any Japanese game. You RARELY get the full explanation of the story from one game alone. From symphonies to live acts on stage, you get all the gaps filled in (Neir Automata was a great example of this). Only getting one major game will only give the overall story.

Did this reviewer even seriously play the first one? I can give him that the controls could be awkard to anyone who never played the originals, but personally I picked up and played and all the controls came back immediately.

I literally played this while playing Marvel's Spider-Man and it STILL kept the same great action up 16 years later. I don't see how anyone could give this a "5" unless they just weren't interested in the game from the start (Which is cool. I wish the reviewers were allowed to say this.)

@p3rrypm: Yeah, it's totally not Arkham. You can try to play it like an Arkham game if you don't want to learn the combat, but totally not Arkham. If you only were to watch it while someone else plays it, it's easy to say that. Playing it is a whole different experience.

@aross2004: If you are an actual Spider-man fan who has been a fan of the character for 20+ years, this game is a 10/10. GOTY easily. It's what any true Spider-Man fan has ever wanted in a game. If you just kind of know who Spider-Man is and only watched the recent movies it's a "fun game worth a buy".

@chubby170: I'm glad someone genuinely liked it and didn't like it just because Rockstar made it. If you ask me, Rockstar has really gotten stale over the last 10 years and is living a lot off of the "one trick pony" GTA was on Ps2.

@Tidus1012: I only bought physical copies as well until my living situation changed. I live in a small town in Czech Republic (I'm from Ohio) and they don't sell many physical copies in stores. I usually have to drive to Prague, and even then they may not have it or it will be more expensive than the PS store.

@Barighm: Yeah, it's an American thing. Since I've been in Europe I've had better deals with the PS store. When I was in the US, I literally never used the PS store for anything. There are a TON of trade-in stores there.
