@s1taz4a3l: 100 percent agreed. I didn't give this game a chance after Avengers although I'm still waiting to find it on a good sale/streaming platform.
@CRAPCOM1926: I could never fully understand the motions of the animals. Even then, combo's would decide when they wanted to work or not, even when I held the triangle button for the panther, it worked whenever it felt like working.
@p3rrypm: I agree with your points. There really should've been more boss fights. That was one thing I was missing. I didn't mind them being in pairs most of the time, but there should've been more 1 on 1 fights.
And yeah, they didn't pull off the "Scarecrow" stages well. Mr. Negative was okay simply for it looking cool, but the Scorpion stage really was forced.
I wanted to play this but it really wasn't looking good from gameplay streams. Either Japanese games are completely amazing and crazy in-depth with story or feel completely hollow and rely on recycling the same alluring idea 99 million times (Freedom Wars killed a ton of my respect for Japanese games. Neir Automata is still one of my favorite games to date though).
@ranger1208: I hate games that do this. Just sending more bad guys is the idea of higher difficulty. I'd rather have a shorter game with quality enemies than a longer one with the same, recycled types.
@merwanor: I just started playing the demo now. The core of what they're trying to do isn't bad but it is buggy, especially for it to come out in a few weeks. I literally just start the 2nd mission and the audio cut out... It definitely doesn't have a premium feel, but I've come to expect it from EA. I don't know if it would be worth full retail price. It's basic stuff. Maybe worth a sale.
