Not me. I love unlocking everything in a game - not just all of the hidden characters, but anything else I can get too. Therefore, I dont think I am ever going to get tired of Brawl. There is simply too much to do.

Are you slogging through the lot on your own, or with friends? The answer may be there.

How many threads like this are we going to see? :| There are plenty of games on the Virtual Console that are worth the points, and you have to remember that this is a service Nintendo is going to want to keep updating well into next generation, if not the gen afterwards. There is no point, from a business perspective, in releasing all of those classic games right now, and all of the less well known ones later. And Im fine with that. I dont have enough money to buy all the games I want that have been released, so Im happy waiting.

I have Lost Winds, FFCC:MLaaK and Toki Tori. Pickings are pretty slim, but thats okay because Im working through Brawl, Okami and Tomb Raider at the moment.

Really cant wait for Gyrostarr, Mad Stone, Shantae, Tetris and World of Goo, though. And I hope there is much more we dont know about just yet.

Yep,I'm almost out of space. Not sure why Nintendo is so adamant against a hard drive...VGobbsesser

Because hard drives simply arent necessary. They will be costly to produce for Nintendo, costly to buy for us, it almosts cheats Wii owners because it will bump up the price of the console, and it doesnt have mass appeal.

The only thing Ninty really need to consider is expanded SD card functionality. Maybe some kind of Memory Card Channel that allows you to browse extra content and folders (ie WiiWare folder, SNES VC Folder, Guitar Hero 4 DLC Folder) more easily, and actually load stuff straight off of the card.

Then, add a "download to card" function in the Shop Channel yourself, and you are away. A programme that grabs and runs files from a card is much easier and cheaper than a hard drive.

I dont like Nintendo's current solution of redownloading everything. Im sorry Jaysonguy, but its fiddly, irritating and not very user friendly, especially when you have a lot of downloads.

Im willing to bet that Nintendo planned better functionality in the first place, but for some reason never got around to it.

And a PS3 at the end of the year! Yikes!!!

When I was a kid, I wasnt worried about such things as nostalgia. As each generation faded away, I sold that particular console and all of the games to get the latest piece of kit. I used to have a NES, SNES, N64, Megadrive, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Gamecube and Xbox. I now only have a Wii. It stings to think of all those awesome games I have gotten rid of.

Ive started collecting again, but the Wii's Virtual Console helps a lot. Even so, most of my cash goes on legacy titles.

So they're saying that they can do it but they don't want to? That sucks.psychot50

More like they are not looking at external hardware, but at an alternative solution - better compatibility with SD cards, maybe? I dunno. I hope its at least something.

My blog has a few pics.

Nothing too spectacular. My gaming stuff is in two parts. Wii in my own (new) bedroom, which will also have a PS3 by the end of the year, and the 360 hooked up downstairs on the family HD TV. I like my Wii set up though, even if it is modest :)

It felt incredibly childish to me, and I cant wait for it ;)

Its what I like; games that help me escape seriousness and stuff. Yeah.
