Mario Tennis for the Wii (that ISN'T a cheap port of the gamecube version...honestly, did they even test the wii-mote for that game before packaging and selling?!)

Ever since AP exams were done, everybody in my school has been playing pokemon in school (especially the old school Red/Blue/Silver/Gold games

Personally, I've started to replay COD4 for the PC after several months hiatus. Hoping for some new games...any suggestions?

I agree with the poster above me. However, I also believe it's the fundamental difference between the two in that movies are meant to convey a sense of realism, in other words, it's going to have to be applicable to the real world. For example, a Halo movie where every actor can jump twelve feet doesn't seem to be too compelling of a movie (not to mention there would be special effects up the wazoo that could potentially detract from the move as a whole). Games, on the other hand, are played on computer monitors and televisions in settings that are completely artificial (have you ever seen the chairs in COD4? They're indestructible!)

On a similar note, check out this movie I found on Youtube the other day. It's by the South African director chosen to make the Halo movie that didn't go through. They made a few short clips from the Halo movie though. Quite epic!  :D

Yeah, these systems improve way too quickly....but, I think if you want maximum value, a dual-core these days are the way to go. AMD and Celeron and those processors are good, but not as powerful as an Intel dual-core machine...from personal experience, I always want to make sure that the processor is sufficient when you upgrade. Anything else can be replaced (i.e. graphics card, ram), but a faster processor needs a new motherboard...and that's a hassle (especially if the machine was bought)

Still, I'd prefer pc's over consoles anyday...I mean, 64 person COD4 multiplayer? Epic.

Hello all! I'm VK44 from good ol' New Jersey. I'm 18 years old and currently enjoying my senior year in high school.

Funny enough, my first computer game was Red Alert..and now I'm still a big fan of the Command and Conquer series (though Generals ruined it for me for a while...). Anyways, I also live FPS's. I don't usually play RPG's because I don't have the patience..but that's not set in stone  ;)

I play computer games, Wii, and XBox (though pc is my favorite by far)

It's good to meet my fellow union members!
