It's almost trendy now to complain about this game. The guy below is taking the time to post this and he doesn't seem to have played it much or at all. I am an old Bethesda fan and while Starfield is not a perfect game, my friends and I all have enjoyed playing it (200+ hours so far). The main missions are well designed and fun to play. You can literally play for hundreds of hours and explore at your own pace. Just like Fallout 4, there are gonna be dlc's patches and tons of mods to keep it alive for a decade. The modding community has already gone nuts, go and see the thousands of mods for yourself.

@mathandr: agreed, this game is definitely better and longer than Rage and Dishonored 2. It's also much better than bioshock (I liked but no stealth gameplay) and Deus EX. The original Dishonored holds it's own though. I want to see another Prey game by the same team.

@nfs73: So you're comparing PREY a stealth, sci fi horror rpg with "Horizon Zero Dawn" the shooter? What's next? comparing 'Thief' with 'Call of duty'? I hope that these ridiculous reviews by people who are into shooters and action games dont discourage the developers from creating stealth games. There are an infinite number of shooter games out there, go play those and stay away from games where you have to think and sneak around.

@poyar: Everytime a game is overly hyped it raises expectations so much that often it cant live up to them. Maybe that's what happened to you or maybe you're just a hater or a troll. I dont know you but you didnt give any reason for the negative rating you're giving and have taken a trollish approach and then the dare??

I havent played the game yet but I usually (for the most part) agree w/gamespot, gt and ign's reviews who at least provide details to support their critiques.

@verysalt: I'm still amazed that people think of Fallout 3 as the better of the two. Fallout 3 was decent but ultimately a let down due to lack of quests and things to do, being unbalanced (such as the overly difficult to beat and shake off rad scorpions and flies). I thought that washington was not fun to navigate thru w/all the road blocks and dead ends. The ending seemed rushed and was anti climactic.

It seems that the developers listened to the players and fixed pretty much all of these issues for Fallout New Vegas. They packed it w/ a ton of really interesting quests and characters as well as side activities like gambling, etc. There was something around every corner and the companions added a whole new depth to the gameplay.

Oh well, to each his own I guess and a reminder that opinions on games are purely subjective which some of the people posting here seem to miss altogether.

@deusvex: Couldnt agree more. I hope they go in the direction of ME1 & 2 but larger. Those tiles were exceptionally immersive and engaging because of the focus on story, character development and exploration and not mostly action. ME3 really didnt do it for me.

@MashedBuddha Agreed and I think that Risen 3 is the closest to the Gothic 2 feel that Pirahna Bytes has gotten to in the whole Risen series. It's a bit slow at times but it has the charm and lack of polish of the gothic series and I feel that it's a step in the right direction.
