I’m 5 hours into the game and I don’t even know simple things like:

Where the heck am I supposed to go?

How the heck do I level up?

Where the heck do I get weapons?

How the heck do I summon other players to help me?

All the other Soulsborne games were far easier to figure out than this one. I think the open world design really increases the complexity of the game dramatically. And I don’t feel like watching YouTube tutorials to figure all this out because that’s just way too much effort for a video game. That’s like basically doing homework to figure out how to play a video game. That’s ridiculous and reeks of a poorly made video game.

FROM Software seem to have catered to the “Git Gud” crowd of people who do nothing all day except play Soulsborne games. They have made Elden Ring the ultimate “Git Gud” game to the point of casual gamers having no clue what to do even 5 hours into the game and then just rage quitting. Sorry, but that sort of inaccessibility makes Elden Ring a poorly designed game.

I’ve loved all Soulsborne games until now except for maybe Sekiro. I gotta say that Elden Ring is just way too complicated and difficult to learn. I think FROM Software really dropped the ball with Elden Ring.

Elex 2, though not as polished, is a far better designed and far more accessible game. It’s a game that is actually fun to play.

There is literally no game out there that is more atmospheric than The Sinking City. The game is soooo incredibly underrated!!

I'm playing the PC version which runs very well. IGN gave it nearly an 8 out of 10. Gamespot gave it a 3 out of 10 which is laughable LOL. In reality, the game is easily a 9/10 or higher. The story is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and even the combat is a lot of fun even though the combat is a little old-school. Graphics are excellent too!!

AWESOME GAME!!!!!
