UPDATE: my computer has spontaneously combusted, destroying everything within a 1 meter radius. Fortunately, I was soaking in a nice long bath, and therefore I escaped without any fatal injuries.

But yeah, I think I did one too many ill-timed hard resets. Seems like the OS got corrupted and won't boot anymore. Too lazy to reinstall the OS, so I'm thinking its time to buy a new PC. Farewell 2500K, you have served so well since Jan 2012.

@duntastar88: Thank you for your reply. There was a radeon graphics update, so I did a Factory Reset install on the driver.

I have suspected it could be RAM, but ran a short ram test no problem. Or it could be my 4 year old r9 380 which I used a couple of months for crypto mining... or it could be my junk 9 year old Enlight PSU :P

Hi, I am hoping somebody could provide some insight.

My computer recently started freezing and I get a solid green screen (no text). There's no new hardware. It happens randomly but I notice mostly when I'm watching videos on browser or video player. I don't recall this happening when gaming (dota2, etc).

When it freezes, nothing responds other than a hard reset. Ctrl+shift+windows+B doesn't do anything. After it hard reset it is usually fine for awhile.

Windows Error Log:

Description. A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly. Problem signature. Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent. Code: 1a8

What component do you think is causing this?

@gerygo: What's wrong with AA batteries? I use rechargeable ones, and i have a couple so whenever the ones I'm using get low, I just swap it out and then charge the depleted ones. That way I don't need to worry about the non-replaceable batteries dying in a couple of years. I had a K800 logitech. Batteries were pretty good, changed them about once or twice a week. The first one was good, but it broke when i spilled water over it. It seems the build quality on the subsequent ones has gone down though. Gone through 3 now.. Maybe I need to find a spill resistant one too (illuminated and spill resistant lol... one can dream)

I don't mind spending for a top model... do you have any recommended models?

Please recommend a keyboard with these features.

Wireless (not bluetooth)

illuminated (prefer single color, RGB is ok too)

Mechanical (prefer Cherry MX reds, browns second choice, other switches ok too)

Must use replaceable AA/AAA batteries.

prefer some media keys

TKL or Full size not too important.

@lorddaggeroff:I want to withdraw when I reach the minimum withdrawal amount of $1000(variable D). I can reinvest at the rates in post #1. I also gave an example in post #4.

What day or at what yield rate should I stop reinvesting to reach the minimum withdrawal amount the earliest?

@horgen: <- this guy gets it. @lorddaggeroff: you are completely off.

Please re-read the above posts if you still don't understand, or stop de-railing this thread.

@lorddaggeroff: i know you can change the variables, but no, thats nothing like what im looking for.

this doesnt show it reinvesting, it just shows an interest rate.

it doesnt tell me, when to stop reinvesting to get to minimal balance in the shortest time
