Tells me all I need to know why this reviewer gave this game such a bang average score. This game is easily worth an 8 and just about everyone who has played it, streamed it, has stated that. Those games aren't Sims or simulations, their action/adventure. Again people, take these scores as subjective, just comes down to personal taste, and personal expectations. The reviewer sounds like he was expecting a vastly different game and his score is a bit skewed because of that. "Lack of memorable characters" umm, this game is about mimic's and aliens, its not a character driven game like say Half Life 2 is. He just didn't enjoy the game, doesn't mean its a bad game, or that you wont enjoy it either..... I own this game and found VERY little actually wrong with it myself...
Great post! very informative but still doesn't excuse ME:A bad animation and facial artwork though. If the rest of the series had the same flaws I would understand quite a bit more, but because of the level the entire series has had on all its characters! it is a ME trademark on the quality animation and character design. It was just extremely poorly done in ME:A and no games designer can really argue that differently. No one suggests character designs on an RPG is easy by any stretch, but ME sets a bar, and andromeda falls WELLLLLL short of that bar. It also helps you have experience developers behind a big project like a mass effect game, something which bioware did not do with the team that worked on Andromeda. Something thats been made quite public actually through EA and bioware twitter feeds.
There is already a lot of benchmarks leaked for the AMD lineup. Be interesting to see if their all fake, or all are spot on in beating Intel is about 87% of benchmarking tests. Single Thread speed seems to put it still behind an i7 7700k but this is more than likely due to the fast clock speed capabilities due to having many less cores. Hopefully the new Ryzen chips can overclock really well.
@normanislost: He's talking about her "profile" not the profile picture. The premises was that she has no business reviewing a RTS when she has had such little experience to suggest things like "lack of strategy" when their so focused on Anime, Nintendo and Movies pieces. I did feel a 6 was a bit harsh for this tittle with some things mentioned in the review didn't make much sense at all to how the game plays.
