Kills me that people think this is the same game. Yeah maybe if you are playing on PS3 or 360, but for PC it's about show casing new graphics. That why the game was developed. Even with things still being the same it's polished for the DirectX, and blah blah blah. Its a good solid game. And DON'T call it Call of Duty, it is not at the point where it puts out a new game ever three months with litereally nothing new. So far Crysis will only be on it's forth title (third for consoles) and 1 and 2 were fairly different from each other.

This is a little off topic... but it needs to be noted. TC, thats an amazing sig.

Cover system is not a property of Geow! And besides Uncharted is so different (and who knows better :P) than GeoW .

I am a HL fan to, been ever sense the first, that was a joke. How ever, in all fairness, HL did rip off something, its a FPS, FPS was around before HL making it so HL had to rip off something in some way.

How ever, this is a good time to fully make my point. Games are going to be like other games, Uncharted was in the making and using the same cover fire system before Gears was releised or we knew anything about it, this was apparent in Uncharted when it ws just called the Naughtydog Project. Its not right to say anything ripped anything off as this point unless its blatently obvious. For ex: Bioshock comes out, an underwater game that uses powers and weapons. Now, suddenly a game is annaounced, not a followup to Bioshock that takes place in the artic with powers and upgradeable weapons, or another FPS set in a very similar setting as Bioshock. On that same note, why not say Call of Duty games all ripped off Medal of Honor, they are all WWII games that are a FPS. In short, no Uncharted is not ripping off Gears. It may use the cover fire system, but what games don't really that are TPS. But Uncharted is more like a next gen pitfall or a more refined Tomb Raider with more action.

In short, just stop saying games ripped off each other, they have more then likely been influenced by other games, but it is not a rip off or copy. And just to top it off, in Gears of War, did you solve puzzles by swinging from vine to vine or climb up the side of a wall? No. Was it a platformer... No. Uncharted is a Third Person Action Adventure Platformer, compleatly different from Gears of War. Yes is uses a cover fire system that Gears did, but i you were to take out that cover fire system, what else would you have? Clunky action, this system helps smooth the action.

And before I start getting relpies saying "You just hated Gears of War" or "You're just a PS3 FANBOY!", I own a 360 and actually enjoy Gears from time to time.
