@robodild0: I too believe W3 is the best of the year. But, in the sense of fairness I must at least play the damn game before I pass that judgement.

@JRLennis: I wouldn't worry about that. I think they will get the message after this release. They are not the old Halo anymore. Meaning that they cannot throw together a bad story and expect to be gifted a 9 just because "it is Halo."

Personally, I was greatly looking forward to the game. After having watched the entire story played on a let's play, I can say the piss poor story is reason enough to go down to an 8.

My biggest issue with ME is the fact that we have this rich space opera with tons of races and content; but, oh no, can't move past the reapers. They say it is "taking place in Shepard's lifetime." You know, the reapers can be left behind because you guys have plenty to work with.
