I can see in the future that maybe companies will pair off. Samsung + Microsoft offering Xbox live streaming to the TV. Sony I guess makes TVs so they wouldn't have to pair with anyone. You buy certain type of Sony TV and if you have a PS+ subscription you buy a controller and play streaming AAA games. I think Tom is right though, Internet is a big concern still. I can see latency being a problem especially if your playing multiplayer.
Also, Xbox & Sony are most definitely working on this. Streaming cloud service means no Used games. I'm sure developers are really pushing for this.
During my time in PC gaming, I personally dislike anything lower than 50 FPS on a 60Hz monitor. If FPS drops below 50, I'm turning Video settings down.
I've always liked the layout of the Xbox controller w/the analog sticks where they are. One of the only things I've liked more about the Xbox over the PS.
Geez so many ppl dogging Blizzard how they could have gave more. They could have given nothing! How many other gaming companies didn't give anything. At least Blizzard made a good effort to do something for the victims.
They could have made a big chunk of change releasing RDR for the PC. Not enough to make up the loss for the year but still enough to make the loss that much smaller. I'm sure it wouldn't have cost that much to port it to PC, considering all the other developers who do that these days.
