@elkoldo @mkeezay22 This game could have followed Heavy Rains success had it been as good of a game... People are not down on this game for being "different", which at this point, it's not, there have been a number of games, from Quantic Dream that follow this model, it's no longer this wild new innovation. Heavy Rain wasn't cheered because it wasn't released after an action game, it was praised because it was a genuinely great game, with real consequences for your actions, and a story that you had insane amount of control over, and became emotionally invested in because your choices directly affected things in a very real way. If you made a bad decision, and a character died, then that was it, you were not going to see that character again.
Beyond is not innovative in the same way Heavy Rain was, it's a step back IMO, taking choice out of the game, and giving the illusion of choice, turning an interactive game that pulled you in and made you a part of that world (Heavy Rain), into a DVD of a movie with a couple deleted scenes/bonus features, but no changes to the experience. GTA V has nothing to do with the polarizing aspects of Beyond: 2 Souls, the game itself is polarizing, on one hand there are those who cling to anything they deem different, and claim it's this incredible artform and want to run around showing all the non-gamers that "LOOK! GAMES ARE ART!! WE HAVE CREDIBILITY!!", and those who are looking at the game for what it is, a beautiful, well acted (Ellen Paige), game that ends up being little more than a movie.

@rawkstar007 Bioshock Infinite is MASSIVELY overrated, possibly the most overrated game of all time (apart from GTA 4). 4 is a bit low, I'd go more 5.5/6, the 93 on metacritic is a joke, the game is boring as hell, the visuals are great, the ending makes you think for about an hour, but everything else is generic, and a shell of what we were promised.
@RS13 @binderdundat He's not wrong, the score may be a bit low because it's not broken or anything, and is beautfiul, but it's generic as hell, and Elizabeth is less than worthless, especially compared to what we were promised from her... Anyone remember those early gameplay clips? Elizabeth was supposed to be amazing, they just threw in some generic things like an ammo stash or a gun turret and let you choose which one you wanted. Worthless.
@Daian it's VERY overrated, when it came out I remember seeing so many "GAME OF THE YEAR!" comments... Amazingg what the hype machine pre-release can do for a mediocre game.
@moataz1993 It doesn't deserve anything higher than a 6, and that's a bit generous, but the ending was good, and interesting enough to warrant at least a 5, the gameplay is terrible, and if you go back and look at all the early footage and see what we were promised, you'd realize we got shafted, big time.
