Yet another off-the-cuff comment blown out of proportion by the media.

IGN is handing out 10s like hot cakes - and the games aren't even perfect as the score implies. It makes me think they're just trying to generate hype for an increasingly bland industry.

On the other hand, when Gamespot shells out a 10, I'm all ears.

The review pretty much mirrored my thoughts on Kerrigan. Even the other characters in the game thought she was dumb - a prime example being Gen. Warfield when he said Raynor sacrificed everything to make Kerrigan human again, but she just went ahead and shat on his sacrifice and became infested again, this time at HER OWN FREE WILL. And in between she bitches about getting revenge on Mengsk for "killing" Raynor. Yeah, right. If Raynor saw what she did he'd probably say "not again. Bitch, you're killing me." I felt really stupid playing her in HOTS

I also agree with the sentiment regarding SC1 Kerrigan. She was so brutal, relentless, deceptive, and unforgiving back then that despite hating her guts, it made playing her a unique experience.

@dipdish I've since figured out what these other issues are (the guys over at IGN have more in depth commentary about it). It hasn't really bugged me that much yet, since I haven't really logged in long hours of play, but yes, I think I now understand VanOrd's comments now.

I don't get VanOrd. First he says this:

"...Now that people can get into the game and start playing with it, they're discovering that there are more problems than just the initial connection."

Then he talks more about the server woes...

(about the server logon) "It would be nice to see exactly which cities exist where... I tried to login but the servers are down for maintenance..."

Then he finally talks about those "other" problems besides the initial login...

(about gameplay) "There are contradictory feedback coming from your citizens... parks... traffic... sharing resources between cities... lots of problems there besides the stable connection"

Sorry, but those trivial problems are nothing compared to the stable connection. I don't know, he seems like he planned to hate this game.

I live in the Philippines and there isn't any shortage of bigots here. Their most overused argument is how people like us are trying to make our country too much like the US - Hollywood in particular. Yes, to them US = Hollywood. Sure, Hollywood has and carries itself with a certain negative connotation depending on the circumstances, but that isn't reason enough to shoot down the one thing it's right about = equality. *Sigh*

I just hope in 10-15 years we will live in a world where people have grown out of it and regret their past bigoted ways. I literally cannot wait.
