@saltful @themc_7 Perhaps things are better on PC. On XB1, this game is still far from playable.

For the 1st time in months, I went online and played battlefield 4. Everyone keeps saying it's fixed and everything is great. However for 2 hours, I rubber-banded, and lagged out. I couldn't find a single server with full connection strength. I thought about buying premium, but after that there's no way EA's getting more of my money. The DLC looks great, but if it's running on dreadful servers and is plagued with bad netcode, what's the point?

There's no predefined arc, that's true, however you are forced to play a certain way. When a race pays out 10,000 credits, buying a 5 million credit car, requires you to do a lot of low level grinding.

@Orga777 I would the 20/1 ratio is quite inaccurate now. A vast chunk of games nowadays the protagonist is female, or we have the option to be female. To name a few:

Elders Scrolls, Mass Effect, Borderlands, TombRaider, Assassins Creed:Liberation, LAst of Us, Walking Dead Season 2, Beyond Two Souls, Saints Row, Remember Me, Bioshock Infinite(Burial at Sea), Resident Evil Series, Lollipop Chainsaw, Mirror's Edge, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and so on.

A more accurate ratio might be 3:1 or 4:1, but 20:1 is way off.

I am required to play a female character in this game. Where is my option to play as a male character? Such oppression, the game is unplayable.

@Zombrex I'm talking about Battlefield franchise video games. Obviously throughout human history there have been tank-less battles.

@Dark_Rage this has nothing to do with DICE. Origin(EA) made/removed the tweet. EA(the publisher) decides when and how content is released.

@AzureBonds76 everyone still gives BF4 a hard time, but it's pretty much bug free now. I haven't encountered a problem in months.
