Touch the Dead, but I didn't buy it, my wife did. Its fun for a little bit, if you're just killing time, but its reallyrepetitiveand strangely void of really any good value.

KOTOR 1, far better in story and mechanics, the story is more complete than the 2nd installment...., You could get KOTOR 2 and play it without having played the first, there are some references to KOTOR 1 in 2, but, not really that big of a deal that you MUST play the first.

Mods only change the degree of play associated with a game..., its not really cheating but rather enhancing your gaming experience, basically rebuilding the game to associate more from what you want from it.  I prefer not to change a game so bad that it destroys the original premise of mechanics within a game, which OOO and MMM do, but, some, like those that have already posted, think that Oblivion needed a good fix (why the mods were probably made in the first place :) and I prefer to play a game under the notion of the original intent from the gaming developers.  Not that mods are bad in my eyes, I've got quite a few graphical enhancements and other cosmetic components to my game that make it far better both visually and in play...,

In any case, you can play Oblivion however you want to, a strong leveled character, using the degree of play already in the original, you probably want to pick primary skills that are not nessesarly what you want to use all the time, say, for a Mage, instead of picking the obvious seven, pick Hand to hand, Blade, Blunt, Heavy Armor etc..., that way, you use skills that are minors but still get the plus 5 attribute change thats associated with the skills without worry of leveling up too fast.  I always pick Mercintile, Speechcraft, and Mystisim within any of my character builds because, when your ready to level up, you can work those skills up fast and controlled, just sell a lot of things, talk to people using the dialogue wheel, or make yourself glow, they also make a good transition from a Warrior to a Mage later on when you start getting 100s in your three major attributes.

It must have made some impact within the gaming community because we still argue upon subject matter that it produced some years later after its release.  It only becomes overrated through the masses almost :)
I thought it was unique, the large maps each level comprised of, the ability to attack a situation diffrently than what you did previously, and the large line of sight used was also a pretty good bonus.  It laid some pretty big ideas on gameplay that I'm sure will be polished off by this company's next big title.

Not sure what you're having problems with in Scene 12. Not really a specific question :) I think the title of that scene is, "Doing Time," and I know Gamespot has a game guide for Manhunt right here. Just search the table of contents for where you're stuck at and read on...,

I thought Half-Life 2 was pretty overrated, not that I didn't like that game (I don't like Steam, thats for damn sure), but the graphics weren't all that and the story was bland (I guess to make room for the episodic scheme). Physics engine great, HDR, :thumbs up:, but to give it the score Gamespot did might have been a bit too much (though, I like how Freedom Fighters beat it, that game was good, short, but good). I think HL2 was overrated, the single most deterrent to that game was its lack of story and the seeming moments of deja vu between that game and its predecessor, which I liked more. I think Steam though is the worst thing to hit gaming since the Virtual Boy, that alone hampers my lacking faith in Valve and I probably won't every purchase another game from that company anymore. I don't think Oblivion is, "one of the great RPGs," ether, at least, not in the since of Baldur's Gate, Torment Planescape, or even the beloved Fallout Series, but I do feel that this game warrants high praise. Its immersive, highly addictive, and one can spend hours on end within the world. The quests are astonishingly put together (and I'm not speaking only of the main, of which, to tell you the truth, I've not even remotely attempted :) ), and the graphics, more so on the PC, are quite good. The MOD Community makes this game even that much more better, giving you the ability to build the game and play it however you see fit to do so. I think my only beef with this game is that the maps are not numerous enough, the dungeons, caves, what have you, seem to follow set patterns and layouts, and, in a sense, I can bear that. I think the trick to enjoying this game is to play it as you would say Shenmue, which, beyond all things was one of my more favorite games. Its an RPG in THAT sense, not in the sense of tradition pen and paper stat attribute feat strength etc field; and for that, Oblivion excels in my opinion.
