Man you Sony fanboys crack me up, defending Sony taking your ability to make your own choice away from you saying you only want finished games, and praising Sony's high standards.
This is the same company that pushed SFV and Driveclub! Both those games were unfinished and Driveclub was supposed to be free for Day 1 buyers and they never made good on that promise.
@louixiii: But part of the problem is Sony does no have the best track record of supporting their products long term unless they are a huge success. See 3d tv and vita.
Most Sony fans have said time and again there is no reason to buy a Neo, so let's call that a flop, and the VR is also on track to flop.
This can be a really big problem.
As you can see the PlayStation brand is keeping the whole ship afloat. That is not good. No room for innovation or mistakes. They can't afford it.
Again I don't wish for Sony to fold up or any company for that matter, unless they are evil polluters poisoning people or the like.
@louixiii: That's all fine and good. Are you going to put you $ where your mouth is?
Personally I feel VR is no where near ready for the masses especially running on a PS4.
If the Neo is really all for VR, are you going to cough up $800 + now, after they told all those that preordered it would work great on current hardware, and not feel slighted?
Not that anyone asked for it but here's my 2 cents.
This is not very good news. Play Station doing well is great, but making it the foundation for the rest of the company, and having to keep the rest afloat is not.
They are heavily invested in PSVR which from what i heard sounds like a huge flop. Also the Neo has garnered very little interest to a point Sony doesn't even want to talk about it.
The movies are terrible and we all now how the music recording industry is doing. Their insurance division really took I on the chin this last year. The stocks went up 8% with this report but if I had $tocks with them I would sell now. They are only a couple bad decisions from bankruptcy.
I am an unapologetic Xbox guy, but I don't want to live in a world without Sony.
