@bloody-hell thats a retarded reason for companies to support the bill, they want people to know about their games so more people will be likely to buy them. Also, a lot of recent games by "big companies" are actually very good, and getting rid of free advertising is a stupid move for any company. The large game companies HAVE NOT stated they support the bill. GS says that it has been SUGGESTED that support has been transferred and does not mention who it was suggested by. The internet rumor and conspiracy mill continues to churn out bait for people who don't think things through. The point of the bill is to actually stop online piracy, it just does it in a backwards and wrong way that hurts more than it helps because it was made by people who do not understand how the internet works (don't assume malice when stupidity fits), which is why this bill will not pass as is. I think we can all agree that piracy is bad, and that trying to stop it is good, but not at the expense of our freedom.

Just to be clear, everyone knows that the engine for the BETA was over 3 months old, right? It will definitely be clean by final release.

@majkic666 most people are afraid to use new technology because its unfamiliar. Im glad nintendo decided to make the motion sensing a focus for many of their games. If they had made it optional, it would have been far less successful than it actually was. They were also very ingenious in how they introduced it to players. In twilight princess, for example it was very subtle in a way that made the game feel like you were still playing a zelda game and the motion controls only added to that experience, and i think it is the best in the series. And warioware allowed players to focus entirely on the motion control aspect to get them used to games that would make better use of them in the future. If nintendo had made the motion controls optional, then Sony and Microsoft would have never come out with their own. Nintendo has always been on the leading edge of user interaction and control innovation, and i wouldnt be surprised if it'll be them that comes out with a brainwave sensing device which makes all other controllers obsolete.
