A tiny little bit of curiosity to at least check new characters being introduced is completely snuffed by this continuing total disregard for the lore and characters
@Barighm: I wouldn't say it. There are no solid correlations with anything discovered for developing Alzheimer's, and I wish it was as easy as just adjusting the diet.
That's something I would never understand. Why take someone's else characters and world setting and create absolutely different story? Well, I understand why, but this laziness and greed still are annoying.
@sippio: I can say that I have friends in Kiev, in Moskow, and in Eastern Ukraine. And what they tell is not what is shown in the news, but since it's internet, how can you believe anything anyone says unless you know the person in real life?
I actually still have family in Lugansk, and 8 years ago they were forced from their home by the Ukrainian government that bombed their own cities and citizens. I don't remember the world caring about dying children then. That's why while I am horrified by what's happening right now there, I cannot see Ukraine as just an innocent victim. But again, why should you believe me?
EA just wanted to use the current trend of hating Russia for the publicity, without thinking it through. And most of the people here have no idea about laws or life in Russia, but happily join this trendy hate. Of course, when do the facts stop a good story?
When you promise the things that you don't know if you can deliver, you just dig your grave deeper. Let action speak, make a good game, then say that it happened because you were "laser-focused". But if you talk and don't deliver, it's even worse than just making a mediocre game without all these promises. The people still remember BW of the past and probably there is a good chance that one game can restore your fans' faith.
