^There's a fix for hitching on nVidia cards too. The hitching has something to do with how shaders are handled, there's an ini tweak that can potentailly get rid of it (worked for me.)

See here. Read the first post on how to edit your ini, and the 2nd post for the potential fix.

Thanks for that, iv just been coming to that conclusion myself as well :). when u say bottom bay, do you mean of the middle HDD case or the one even further down (i.e. opposite the PSU)Masterfulfish

Bottom-most, yes, opposite the PSU (power supply)

Just a small comment on your project using an Antec 900.

To make wiring, and videocard placement easier, put your HDDs (harddrives) in the lowest bay (bottom-most) of the case, and in the bay above that one, leave it empty, and do NOT add that extra black fan to it (the 2 blue intake fans in the front of the case are more than enough), leave it removed, you do not need it, instead for videocard cooling, add a blue LED 120mm fan to the window (have it blow inward)

Yes, definitely get a soundcard.Having motherboard sound just doesn't give your games, music and multimedia that real stereo separation and clarity that you would get from a good add-on card.

I use and recommend the Soundblaster X-Fi line of cards from Creative Labs.

This is in my current hardware setup on my personal machine. To see all of my current hardware, check out the hardware section of t0adphr0g dot com for details.

The white connector, a 3-pin molex, usually for a case fan, or the CPU H/S fan. (one fan per 3-pin plug)

The skinny black ones,(Normally power, reset, pc speaker, and HDD LEDs ) lead from your computer's case front, so the power and reset switch canswitch the power to your motherboard, as well as show you via an LED when your HDD is accessing.

Running with minimum specs is not the way to go. You should NOT be surprised that the game crashes if you only have the minimum requirements for that game.

I vote "NONE" Athieism is still a belief. I believe in nothingness, random chance, and the certainty of a meaningless existance.

The Asus XG Station, (XG stands for eXternal Graphics, I can imagine) was created primarily to boost laptop video performance for gamers. This product ports into a laptop's PCMCIA slot, and handles the graphics instead of the lappie's onboard video.
