The Wii has the most horrid memory I've ever seen in a video game system.

You were born in 2006 or something?
No, but the thing is, with the PS2, GC, and Xbox, the memory cards ONLY saved games, and those files were generally small. The Wii not only saves game files, but also (tries) to save entire games, and it just becomes WAY too easy to fill up the entire system memory, and it just becomes too big of a hastle. I mean, N64 games alone take up like 200 or so blocks, and it took them years until they came up with a solution with the SD card slot, which should've been an option from day one. And even now it's not an entirely effective way to save things.
Plus, on cartridge based consoles, the file is just saved on the cart itself instead of the system.
I can see why my battery argument can be, well, argued against, but I just hate having to continually swap batteries over and over again to use the controller. And I use rechargable, too. Those eventually begin to wear and tear, just like any other battery.
I've had the same rechargable batteries for 13 months now and I've been using them quite a bit with my xbox and wii. In fact they're all that I use. They are still working great. I don't know how long yours last but to mine have been going for more than I bargained for with 15 dollars.
