Auto sign in is enabled. That isn't the issue we are talking about.

I've noticed that no one has posted on this topic since January but I've had this issue for nearly 6 months.

When I switch on the Xbox, it states that I am disconnected to Xbox Live. When I try to connect, it ALWAYS throws up an error. I then have to go to Test Connection, sign out of my profile, run the test (which ALWAYS states that the connection is perfect), then re-sign in to my profile to get onto LIVE.

My 360 is in my routers DMZ, there are no issues with my modem/router/anything else connected to them. My PS3 signs in 100% everytime and everything in my household is on static IP addresses. I have everything WEP coded too.

Xbox Support (there's an Oxymoron!) can't find anything wrong because when the tests are run, it signs in perfectly. They are just happy to blame my ISP.

If I wanted to use IGN, I would go to IGN. I used to use both sites as they were completely different but now they are pretty much the same, its gonna be IGN i'm afraid.

Actually, I haven't solved the problem. The problem rectified itself without me doing anything so it still means that if it happens again, I wouldn't have a scooby what to do. Keep posting folks.

Same here. I just posted this in my own topic and a moderator has now locked my topic and re-routed me to this forum.

I see that someone has had the time to look at my post and re-route it here but hasn't actually had the time to post a solution on here.

I have got a permanent Red Dead Redemption Undead advert that sits across my webpage, specifically blocking the most recent posts on ALL forums. I have tried clicking on it to remove it but this doesn't help.

I cannot read the forum posts as this advert is overlapping the text considerably.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I couldn't reply to a thread after it was locked because the "THREAD LOCKED" message replaces the "NEW MESSAGE" button.

The problem now seems to have corrected itself however and i am now able to post on all of the previously locked threads.

Cheers

The thread is locking after every post I've made.

Is it me or is there a fault?

Bump

My problem magically fixed itself without me changing anything.

Tried calling the ISP who blamed XBOX. Tried calling XBOX who blamed ISP.

It must have been someones issue as its now resolved.... until next time!
