I actually remember that year pretty well as one when I had both the PS3 and a new PC as well as loads of free time to play... And the first half of the year was absolutely atrocious. Just looking at the first 13 games, until August (I never played Arkham Asylum but I'm sure it was a very good game for the time), there was absolutely nothing for me. Then I eventually got hooked to Borderlands chaotic fun, and AC2 came out to make up for a very boringly repetitive first installment. Dragon Age and its lack of depth was such a disappointment from Bioware after KOTOR games and Mass Effect 1 (not mentioning Baldur's Gate). Uncharted was one of the best games ever made for PS3 though. But overall very mixed feelings about 2009.

@Grumphus @stricot Exactly my point. Nowhere on Gamespot it is said it's a cheap game that should consider as such; click on "Top Games" and it is right there above Tomb Raider and so on. And btw you can get Borderlands 2 for EUR 25 and it doesn't look like a 20 year old game.

Still convinced one should not rate those small abandonware style games the same way you rate proper elaborate games. I liked FTL for instance but in no way it should be rated better than an average fully fledged game. This one same rating as Borderlands 2 ? Seriously...

Bah, since Zak McKracken and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade it went slowly but irremediably downhill... SW games never really interested me, except KOTOR. So RIP LucasArts, long live good games (possibly)

Really unethical move... And useless. Anyway normal auction house already breaks the game balance by allowing to get v good items on the cheap (filter below 3000 and you've got v good stuff already, much better than in-game loot)

...to see that so many ppl who already have a PSP want to buy this PSP to play the same games the same way, just 'cos the screen is this or that, the ring is chrome or brushed... don't u feel it's a complete waste, you consumer slaves? save your coins to get a sensible life and your time to google "sustainablility" for instance
