A quick google search would of answered my question but I'd prefer to get some feedback off of here. ;)

I've played through and loved titles such as Kao the Kangaroo Round 2...That's really the only one I can think of that in my opinion is a gem but never got the spotlight...(I know the first game isn't too crash hot.) Is there any similar to this one? I just love the simplicity of it I guess.

I've played through a bit of Yooka-Laylee and it's not really my thing. (Was never a fan of Banjo Kazooie)

More recently I did however love A Hat in Time and Mario Odyssey.

It just seems as though most of that genre now is very hit and miss unfortunately.

@the44swagnum: Thanks for your comment but just then I accidentally released a Pokémon holding EXP share. So....after that I’m firm on not touching another Pokemon game. Lol

Or in other words...when do you think it’s OK to drop a game?

I ask this because I’ve been playing Pokémon Crystal on the 3DS for roughly the past month.

At first, it was good to revisit but these past few days there’s been nothing left to do apart from trying to complete the Pokedex (own around 140) and beat Red.

I’ve put around 55 hours into it so far. I completed the Pokédex in Yellow and have been transferring Pokémon from that game over to this gen.

Getting to the point...I want to drop the game badly. It’s become such a chore and because of this I’ve realised that I have grown out of Pokémon games in general. (I haven’t played the 3DS titles.)

The amount of grinding that is involved is painful but I don’t like dropping games.

What should I do? D:

The Professor Layton games on the DS for sure. Haven’t got around to playing the 3DS titles though.

Pokémon Crystal on the 3DS. But I want to stop....the grinding isn’t worth it just to complete the Pokédex and I prefer platformers anyway.
