No surprises, barely any comedy pieces, and too many guys hanging around inside the ring at once. Not to mention the fact that WWE still is absolutely brain dead in how to book Roman Reigns. Let's just throw him in at the end, when people are hoping it'd be a returning Balor, or Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, or hell anybody but Reigns. And then he goes toe-to-toe with the Undertaker, which nobody wants to see, and eliminates him. The three marquee names in Lesnar, Goldberg and Undertaker don't share any real ring time - albeit Goldberg destroying Lesnar was a surprise.
At least Orton winning was unexpected, but, Orton vs. Cena isn't what people want to see since we've seen it, 100 times over. It'll be an interesting week this week as WWE does damage control.
Highlight of the Night: AJ Styles vs. John Cena was a (pun intended) phenomenal match.
@qdawgz361: Nintendo Wii sold for it's clear message and simplicity, not because the general public knew how to Mod the system. That's just ridiculous.
As for your "stop n'go" theory, that's just idiotic. The Vita, 3DS, etc. etc. had the same issue. You think people want to play using their LTE with (if they're lucky) 3g of data usage to play Mario Kart online on the bus, or pay for that kind of usage? The game would eat it up the data quick. The idea of portability isn't for the online, the idea for portability is the fact that your console game can come with you, in a simple, smooth transition. It's the reason the system will get home console games, and get portable games.
The Wii games did sell... did it sell in proportion to their install base? No. Mario Kart Wii did 36 million, Twilight Princess did over 7 million, Mario galaxy 2 did over 7 million, Smash Bros Brawl did over 13 million, Mario Galaxy 1 did over 13 million... just to name a very select few.
