You should never be punished for not pre-ordering a freakin' game. I can understand a RETAILER giving out things for pre-ordering. As long as it's not game content. Like a t-shirt or some art or a poster. But not the freakin' publisher giving people content because they paid 60 dollars before I paid 60 dollars for a game. It's total bull. GTFO of here with that.

This why I mainly play old games ha ha. It's ALL about the money now. That's it. At least for AAA publishers. I already lost faith in Mass Effect when they turned the second game into an action shooter. So I didn't even bother finishing it, let alone give any thought to this one. People are just drones who get excited when over-hyped games appear left and right and then end up disappointed when the game is all too familiar. Just play games that YOU think are interesting and that YOU want to play. Don't let companies essentially brainwash you into buying a game because everybody is supposedly playing it. It's sad that games of no substance or unique qualities are the highest selling. Sad indeed.

And one last thing. Back to digital downloads. I think digital downloads are too messy for my likes (again kind of OCD I guess) there are all of these consoles and computers and handhelds and a dozen of download places: xbox live, playstation network, wii shop channel, eshop, steam, direct to drive, origin (*vomits*), impulse. The list goes on. I just find it very organized to go to the store buy a game and put it with the rest of my games. Then I can see them all and know they're all there in a bin, or on a shelf. Where ever. It's just neater for me.

Also I'm pretty sure the proprietary memory cards are made cheap as dirt and with no competition all money go to Sony. So why mark up the price so high if you're starting off with a profit really? Just being greedy...it's sad. If companies thought about consumer satisfaction instead of funds the funds would come BECAUSE the consumers are satisfied.

I don't like digital downloads really. I like to buy something and be able to hold it in my hands. Also it means that if you own the physical game there's no way that it can be taken from you (ignoring theft or losing it yourself). I just feel safer knowing that when I bought say Skyrim, I have the CD and box in my room on my shelf rather than in the internet somewhere ha ha. That's just me though. I kind of have OCD about physical things. Like when I sell a console I put it back in the box with all the manuals and things and keep all my game boxes and read all the manuals etc.

Question: how/why is the "two-screen approach" limiting? That makes no sense in any way you slice it up. Suppose Nintendo upgraded the quality of the screens. Two high fidelity screens versus one. So that's just retarded to say that ha.

I blame this all on greedy ass publishers like EA who ruin otherwise good intentioned gamers who actually develop the games like Bioware and force them to make the company more money regardless of whether or not it's being good to the consumer. Just imagine if we supported developers the way Double Fine was supported, that way the middle man could take a hike...only in a perfect world though.

I was passing through Target today and saw the PS Vita set up there. I said to myself "Wow that's a nice looking piece of tech right there." So I tried it out. The screen is beautiful, as are the graphics from what I saw in Uncharted, Fifa, and Wipeout. The buttons and sticks are great too. I had a blast playing through two races in Wipeout ( I placed 3rd the first time and 1st the second time WOOT :P). Then I walk over to the 3DS and see Mario Kart set up. I raced a single race there too (won 1st place ha). As I was leaving I thought to myself "Wow these are two great pieces of hardware". You can't go wrong with either. I had fun with both and if I had the funds I wouldn't think twice about having both either. Just my little anecdote. :P

@TonyKoeffler I feel you. I didn't care that the 3DS wasn't selling well. I STILL bought it on launch day. The only thing that matters is if YOU, the gamer, are happy. It's not about all this everybody's a critic bs. Forget that. Just play the games you want on the systems you want and f*** everything else. I'm tired of the negativity. I just want to game you know? If I like street cleaning simulator then screw the fact that game journalists don't like it. Dig it? :P P.S. I never have nor will I ever actually play street cleaning simulator. Unless it's free and then maybe. No probably not.

Why can't companies just work together ha ha? It's ALWAYS about the money. What about the experience?
