@kizza_soze: The SPirit of Socom 2+3 are very sacred to me,my lil brother and probably everyone who played during that 2-3 year span.. I'd say it's spirit is similar to Golden Eye or Perfect Dark.

*The part that i loved was watching/spectating cause ur dead and watching that uber dude about to walk on a PMM mine only to jump over it like a Jedi.. GoodTimes 10/10.

I loved taking the VIPS to one extraction only to then leave with em and go across the map and the hunters couldn't get there in time. the rage!

I played at Launch a quicker game. bout 120 hours.

WAAAY TOO OP.. Thus i didn't enjoy the 2nd half of the game.. I killed Alduin in like 10 hits @the end...

~I returned about 3 years ago and played witjh mods and got super bored and never returned.

so i put about 200+ hours into it.. i'd say im in the lower percentile of hours played for sure.

Then theres uber editions. then i got VR for PS4.. So yeah about 10 copies..

And Bethesda still charges gamers for a Next gen upgrade.. I hate Bethesda for their greed.

I think YongYea pointed it out that we shouldn't celebrate a game having no micro ugliness. it should be expected & the norm. Applies to all life as we shouldnt be rewarded for doing the right thing yaddayadda....

We are seeinng sooo many IP's being ignored & shelved cause they cant monitize it.

Like DeadSpace,,TwistedMetal,,RedFaction,Medal o Honor etc.(yeah i read about DeadSpace comeback)...EA & Activision alone own sooo many Popular IP's that arent being used.

Even a decent profit isn't enough. There's no shortage of Talent/staff & investors. it's simply why focus on this slice of bread when we could focus on a loaf of bread..

MetalGearSolid & Crisis & F.E.A.R. are super popular IP's not being used for awhile..

MGS V PhantomPain is probably the best game This Gen-X lifetime gamer has ever played.

and all they/Konami do with it after the super success is make some cheesy slot machine Pachenko and MetalGearSurvive which was lame & bad to 99% if gamers who played it.. i was so happy to return to MGS maps that i gace it way more chance then most. Yeah didnt work out or even come close... Konami is focused on the mobile market and not doing anything with the IP and SilentHills too.... When i heard the rumor that Xbox might be trying to lease or buy the IP's i got pretty stoked..

With or without Kojima im excited.(yeah Death Stranding was my 1st negative w/ Hideo. a very big neg btw as it felt unfinished bigtime. There's no way Hideo would design combat mechanics & enemy AI that cheese. it was incomplete for sure.. whatevs...

So yeah i think the Xbox360/PS3 era was THE GOLDEN AGE/THE GOLDEN ERA..

Hopefully the micro Transactions get labled as gambling(lol) and thus 18+ older is required and probably 1/2 the world wouldn't allow it sold at all..Hopefully this is the change that gaming desperatly needs for us to return to the golden era....

*I think it was Destiny that got my full attention with 'Cosmetic micro DLC' And the point with how much effort Bungie was putting into the Eververse store and cosmetics at the expense of the game & gameplay itself..

~I was probably 70/30 console to PC then and before that & recently i was/am 90/10 PC over console because of the options & variety PC offers..

Whatevs,im not a joiner & i own every console(except PS5) and always have since ps2/ogXbox era.

**About backwards compat= i discovered that most games run & look WORSE on Xbox One compared to the 360.. i was able to have em run on same TV & same time. I used Wifes user ID on xboxOne and used Wolverine Origins,,SplinterCell, and Daunte Inferno to test this.. @ first i thought it was in my head but the graphic differences were minor but the smooth gameplay was noticable.. i think XboxOne pushes the framerate and thus tearing and other bugs set in...whatevs..

Just a FYI to my fellow gamers who might have kept their Xbox360's..

*Perk* You can see the games you own digitally that didnt show up on XboxOne because they arent Backwards..It was pretty cool.. Toy Soldiers from Ubisoft comes to mind and Orcs muust die 1 or 2,

Got New Xbox SX and been using that over PS4 obviously.

~Bought AssCreed Valhala- I didn't like it. Only played 1 hour and stopped.

I don't HATE it but got annoyed with the 'filler' loot which i can tell is gonna be tedious with smashing baskets all game.

But the combat/stealth wasn't fun..

i do plan on giving it a proper go at some point..

~Watchdogs Legion- via Gamefly- Haven't played it yet. almost mailed it back yesterday but i atleast wanna give it a go.

I disliked the 1st Watchdogs but added Legion cause the recruiting sounds cool...

~Marvel Avengers~ Got it on Black Friday for $15bucks and started it last week. Had high hopes as i waited for new consoles to try it.. I loVe how it's NOT the MCU.<<Why would/should it be.. Kamila a cute kid & fun to play. The RightBumper RB/L1 is ackward/out of place imo..

I was about to start 1st mission with either The Hulk or Kamila and that is when i put it down.. This was my 1st & only session.

I like the game but then again i haven't returned to it.. i dunno..

I'm not really caring about identity politics etc but i like the White version of NickFury more. Marvel UltimateAllaice nailed the character imo. The NickFury that is more personality like WOlverine is my choice..but this is so pety...

New Toejam&Earl for PS4 & PC~ Right after i picked it up for PS4 for $6 i got it for $1. in a HumbleBundle lol

What a fun game! I was a blunted kid playing the original in early 90's playing original ToejamEarl and never liked any other attempts at Toejam...Even the remaster of the original was Meh.. But this games adds some RPG skils points and some stealth hiding in bushes.. The game is great & you can tell there's alot of TLC.

Outta all the new games i got i'd say this one is the most special

*Never picked up my Cyberpunk PreOrder. I was even inside my local Gamestop BS'ing with a friend of mine and dude gave me the Cyberpunk preOrder neclace in a cool metal Cyberpunk case... Pretty sure i made the right call in waiting as the bugs will be worked out... I'd actually like to wait for the Next Gen release but who knows....

***Also picked up Nhl 2003 & Madden 2004(MichaelVick cover)..

Upgraded or Living room TV and brought the now ExTra 1080P Samsung 63" flatPan to my GamingCave

right next to my 4k TV... I dunno what i plan on doing with both TV's but i think i'll put the 1080p one on one of those fancy Roof swivel mounts and that TV will be for Older Gen consoles...

*****Reason***** That TV has component female ports and my 4k main TV does not! This meant No OG Xbox or PS2 for me..

But Hockey was/is sooo much fun back then.. It looks prtty good with the HD Psyclone component cables.. Takes the blur out.

And Madden is a blast with the cards.. Except they aren't micro transaction :D

~Xbox GamePass- Brutal Legend- Ironic how i picked up the Prima STrategyGuide for $1.50 at Vintage Game store

a year ago in a bulk purchase of 20 Strategy Guides..

The game was a great playthrough and i suggest ALL play it on STeam,PS3/PS4 whatevs.

Voice Acting and music alone make it great but add in the open world freedom and leveling and why didn't i play this sooner..

-Anything with Hunger/Thirst

-Survival mechanics, crafting chopping wood

-Uncharted, i started with Uncharted2 and the action sequences(train escape,chases etc) we're so cliche bad that i went from dislike to hate.

I always remember Dragon Age Inquisition being the game i noticed/realized Bioware was Dead..

Only on my 3rd attempt at the game(in 4 years) was i able to muscle through it and it only made me more Salty..

For me it was the bland that Andromeda & Anthem would continue...

Guess i'm kind alike Pyron in the thought that "i can only be surprised since expectations are -0-...

When i was playing Middle-Earth SHadowAtWar i turned the music off and listened to USB butterstick music on

Xbox1( i think).. I had old school early 90's west coast IceCube & West Side Connection on.Cube is funny !

**When i learned you could listen & toggle the sound between game & music at same time i was blown away and called my brother & old school homies in South Fl to Flex & they all laughed saying OG Xbox did this even better in sports games as it played in the actual menus.. whatevs!!!

Yeah unless it's a game with awesome music like GTA or older hockey/Madden then im using the thumbstick.
